Thanks for visiting my website.
I’m a third-generation farmer, land developer and entrepreneur from mid-Michigan. I grew up enjoying the outdoors, from fields to forests and the Great Lakes.
But several years ago, I started to notice a change. Summers were getting hotter. Lake levels were decreasing; and in winter, Michigan lakes weren’t freezing over as quickly and thickly as they used to.
At the time, a colleague and I were breeding various plant species, and one of them was capturing and sequestering much more carbon dioxide than other plants. It was a revelation for us – we could use our plants to help solve the climate crisis we were both witnessing in our backyards.
We started working with Michigan State University and other universities in the Midwest to test and improve our plants. We also came up with unique methods of growing and processing our plants into biochar, and then adding it back into the fields we cultivated to revitalize the soil. The results were outstanding.
I knew that in addition to addressing global climate change, we also could help companies realize the benefits of going green.
That’s when I decided to launch Dynamic Carbon Credits, a company I founded to address global warming with nature-based solutions and work with companies around the world to meet their ESG and carbon reduction targets.
Here, I write about how Dynamic Carbon Credits is trying to help the world transition to a more sustainable and vibrant economy.
I also write to get feedback, so feel free to reach out.
